Glorious, never mellow, yellow! I once visited a room in the Ashmolean Museum which was filled with someone's collection (donated to the Museum) of Royal Worcester Porcelain and some of it was in the most stunning yellow I have ever seen. Our sitting room is painted Farrow & Ball's Gervase Yellow. Yellow just has to be my favourite colour, especially when alongside my 2nd favourite, terracotta.
